A Tribute for CESAR BORJA
First Year Death Anniversary of the
Albayano/Polangueno - “9-11” Hero

January, 23, 2008, Wednesday, is the commemoration of the first year death anniversary of CESAR BORJA, 52, a police officer residing at Bayside, Queens a native of Ponso, Polangui, Albay.

He worked as a cop for 20 years without a single record of being absent on duty. Although a non-smoker he died last year of lung disease (pulmonary fibrosis) after being a WTC volunteer after the 2001 terror attacks.

The said disease is brought upon by the dust from the collapsing World Trade Center which is full of pulverized glass, dangerous fumes and toxic chemicals.

Ceasar Borja, 21, the oldest son who is studying at Hunter College and working at Starbucks at the same time, leads the crusade for the sick WTC workers.

Ceasar whose name is spelled differently from his dad have already talked with Pres. Bush regarding the issue and said that the President cares.

A year have already passed from the said incident of loss but the scar of having a father, a relative leave you behind at the prime of his life is still traumatic.

Let us pray for the soul of CESAR BORJA and strength for the family he left behind…

EVERYONE IS INVITED TO THE MASS BEING OFFERED BY THE BORJA CLAN AT PONSO, POLANGUI, ALBAY, 6AM, JANUARY 23, 2008.

“9/11 IS NOT YET OVER. IT DIDN’T END IN 2001. MY FATHER IS AN EXTREME EXAMPLE OF WHAT CAN HAPPEN AND WHAT MAY AND WILL HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE”
-CEASAR BORJA
